What is Biostimulation laser therapy?

Laser biostimulation is a safe physical therapy method that induces regenerative tissue processes. It irradiates the affected places with a low-energy laser of low and medium power in the 1 to 500 mW range. Treatment parameters are adjusted to specific disease entities and the patient's condition. Therefore, different wavelengths of radiation and different energy doses are used to treat various diseases.

Treatments can be used both in the case of chronic diseases as well as in subacute and acute conditions. They are safe for health, do not cause pain and do not cause complications.

The benefits of biostimulation laser therapy are enormous. The treatment reduces inflammation, allows you to get rid of pain and eliminates swelling. In addition, it improves microcirculation, accelerates tissue reconstruction and stimulates immune processes. It gives good results in the case of hard-to-heal wounds and ulcers.

Low-level laser therapy effects

The effects of low-energy laser therapy include:
  • increase in the amplitude of nerve fibre action potentials,
  • increase in enzyme activity,
  • acceleration of electrolyte exchange between the cell and the environment,
  • increasing the synthesis of collagen, proteins, RNA and ATP,
  • increasing the level of endorphins,
  • increasing the activity of the sodium-potassium pump,
  • increased synthesis of ATP, DNA and RNA,
  • faster cellular metabolism.
Due to the above effects, treatments in the field of biostimulation laser therapy are used, e.g. in dermatology, dentistry, sports medicine and cosmetology.
